Mode of Action
Tylosafe a macrolide antibiotic, is active against particularly Gram-positive bacteria, some Spirochetes (including Leptospira); Actinomyces, Mycoplasma (PPLO), Haemophilus pertussis, Moraxella bovis and some Gram-negative cocci. After parenteral administration, therapeutically active blood-concentrations of Tylosin are reached within 2 hours.
Infections caused by micro-organisms susceptible to Tylosin, like e.g. respiratory tract infections in cattle, sheep and pigs, Dysentery Doyle in pigs, Dysentery and Arthritis caused by Mycoplasma, Mastitis and Endometritis.
Intramuscular or intravenous injection, for pig, sheep, deer, dog, 0.05-0.1ml/kg each dose, for poultry 0.2ml/kg, once each day, use for 2-3 days continuously. Add dosage when conditions is severe.
